FDLTCC students celebrate Halloween

Donald Lokken won first place for his pumpkin carving at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Lokken, a second-year student, took second place in the college's costume contest with his Comicon creation, which combined Batman and Indiana Jones. He won $25 for winning the pumpkin carving and $15 for second place in the costume contest.

Kyleigh Misson was excited to win first place at the college's annual Halloween costume contest. Misson said she loves mermaids and makeup and spent several hours to create the colorful "scales" on her neck. This was her first time entering a contest. She won a $25 gift card.
